What struck me as different about WeRateShemales was the promise of trannies from around the globe. This is always a bit exciting to me because I like the thought of jet-setting in search of sex shemales. Of course, the site isn't quite as cosmopolitan as it seems.

The members' area is relatively plain. There's a page-top menu where you can find links to the other bonus sites, LadyboyJuice and ShemaleJuice. These, I know for sure are available with your membership, yet here seemed to be another link to a tranny site with a forced feminization theme. I could not detect whether or not this comes or will eventually come with your WeRateShemales membership, so I won't mention it again.
There is an online favourites' file to save the scenes you really love, there are daily pictures added and there are weekly episodes. You can search content by date, top-rated or most popular, but I'd like to see a model list and also some extra details about each babe. When you select a model, you are taken to her photos and movie, but the only thing we get from the tranny critics is a brief paragraph about the chicks assets or lack of assets as the case may be.

Right now, there are 29 episodes. The photo sets, which can be viewed in a slideshow or downladed in a .zip, typically contain 100 images. The 1024x683 pictures are bright and clear. There are some fantastic femininely shots of the shemales in sexy lingerie and playing with their tits before exposing their big cocks. Solo chick sets aren't the only ones you get. There are some hardcore sets and some shemale on shemale ones just to double the overall turn-on.

Members can rate the photos and the videos and there is a place to make comments in the photo gallery area, but not in the movie area. Anyhow, there aren't any format choices whatsoever and I couldn't play the films online, at least not using my Firefox browser. I was able to download the Windows Media Videos (1400kbps 320x240) and it didn't take as long as I anticipated. Of course, the film I happened upon was a mere five minutes. The hardcore scenes averaged a more exciting 15 minutes.

Final Verdict

Some of the shemales on this site are definite lookers. Of course, the majority of them seemed to be Latina, which is fine, but a little typical and not quite as "global" as we were promised. There isn't a lot of content here unless you factor in weekly updates and the exciting tranny bonus sites. Obviously, the site is going to grow, so this is good news. Still, I didn't think the theme was very well executed and I couldn't shake the feeling that the site was just really impersonal. The scene descriptions were too brief and there isn't any model information. We Rate Shemales an OK site that could be better.
